Question:

I have a server running WIndows Server 2003 x64 that is primarily used as a simple file server.  I’m wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to easily audit or log who is connecting to the machine and what they are downloading?

You also can have a look into the builtin default auditing tool by microsoft.
