Question:
Hello,
I am trying to launch a website and the rep at Go Daddy told me the best way is through Dreamweaver there is a way I can find the ftp and type in my host name, password, and path (then follow the steps) and this will upload my files directly without having to go through the ftp on the Go Daddy website. I’ve never done it this way and I cannot find in Dreamweaver where I can get to the ftp. Can anyone help?
Solution:
Go to Sites -> Manage Sites -> Click on New and Choose FTP or RDS Server. Dreamweaver will ask you the FTP connection parametes (username, password, etc.).
