Question:
Experts,
Windows 2003 server that is configured with a windows software raid, freezes up when the server is under a load. ie. multiple access or anytime that the server is taxed heavily. Any suggestions?
Solution:
99.9% certain this related to hardware – either bad hardware or bad drivers. Though it COULD also be heat. You’ll need to experiement. First, I’d check the temperature in the case (thermometer if the hardware doesn’t have one built in). Then I’d update the drivers. Then if that didn’t help, You may have to look into replacing components… Possibly the CPU, RAM, Motherboard, RAID controller…
