Hi. Just renamed the netbios name of the server (not the DNS name) and now i’m having problems.

Exchange 03 runs on the server

Rename completed successfully. Then I noticed that gpfixup could not run because it could not reach \\domain.com (the domain name of my server). surprised, I clicked run and typed \\domain.com and sure enough an error came out saying “no network provider accepted the given network path”

So I ran gpfixup from a remote machine. It worked fine. But now I cannot edit group policy on the server. It says Failed to open the group policy object. You may not have appropriate rights.
